Ever get an idea? I mean, one of those “aha!” thoughts. I do. Quite often, in fact.

Of course, I have written a few of my ideas in books and published them worldwide. But, what about a place for those smaller heaven-sent ‘nuggets’ of truth to be expressed? What about those funny anecdotes that one might want to share? Where can one even post article-sized revelations as they occur…about the Savior Himself, business, family, ministry, marriage, or whatever….rather than having to expand everything out into an entire book? (Has it ever thought about how much work that is?)

That is the purpose of RichVermillion.com in a nutshell. It is a blog for me—and maybe my wife and a few of our preacher-friends—to share our ministerial thoughts, revelations, stories, and other notes for the world to read and be blessed by. It is an expression of Christian ministry that sows life-changing revelation to ‘whomsoever will.’ It is not for our benefit, per se (other than to be another outlet to share the Word). Rather, this blog is for your ‘edification, exhortation, and comfort’ (1 Corinthians 14:3).

Regardless of the author, EVERY article is required to be soundly based on biblical principles, practical in its application, and thoroughly Christian in character. Similarly, every anecdote, though not always quoting Scripture, is yet required to be biblical in worldview.

Thus, we offer no apologies…just the unvarnished truth. We don’t sugar-coat our beliefs. Rather, we verify them in the Word of God, document them with supporting facts, and then express them for you to digest. (And we generally try to have a laugh while we do it.)

One caveat, however: The truth is generally hazardous to our preconceived ideas about everything.
